Information about magnetism

Ferromagnetic (or magnet-conductive) materials such as steel and steel alloys can very easily become magnetic.  There is a range of consequences of this undesired magnetism.  A small nut that sticks to a screwdriver is unpleasant, but two plates that inadvertently end up in the same mould, is simply expensive. Demagnetizing materials that have become magnetic.
